We live in such an extraordinary place here in Marin County, and there are so many things to do with our precious time, especially on a Sunday Morning!
While it is absolutely true that the Holy One can be experienced on a hike through Tennessee Valley or a bike ride down Mount Tam, there is also something uniquely exhilarating about people coming together to worship on Sunday mornings at CCC.
We are a diverse group made up of all ages, many beliefs, and a multitude of gifts. We are nature, art, and music lovers who bring with us to church our esthetic for beauty and attention to detail. If you are looking for a community of companions on the spiritual journey we invite you to visit us.
Almost every Sunday the community joins in worship celebration services at 7:30 a.m. (in the Seminar Room for a more contemplative setting and service) and at 10 a.m. (in the main sanctuary for a service that includes children and choir with our award-winning jazz pianist Scott DeTurk). Communion is incorporated into worship the first Sunday of the month. All are welcome at either service. We are also open through the week with pastoral drop-in hours available by calling our administrator Joanne Lefferts at 415-435-9108. There are ongoing classes, concerts and lectures that are open to everyone, and information is always available on the calendar page of this site. If you wish to check out our church outside of business hours, we invite you to consider coming in the early evening when the sun is gently setting to walk our beautiful new outdoor labyrinth or sit on the glorious stone wall overlooking the water.
In all things we wish you God’s peace, and if you have any questions or would like to know more about the Community Congregational Church, please do not hesitate to be in touch: Email us.
Blessings to you,
Rev. Dr. Curran Reichert
